Day 3 & 4 of Vacation: Family

The next couple days of vacation were spent at Tim and Kammy's, doing wedding/Wessels cousin things, and at the Emergency Room....oh yes, let's not forget our trip to the ER.

Kammy and I spent each morning flying through the country side in her truck.  Kammy is 4'10 and teeny as can be, but boy can she barrel around in her big rig.  We went garage saleing, of course...see why!  We had so much fun fun chit chatting and junking. 

While we were doing that, this is what the guys and kids were doing...

The wedding was great, and it was a blast to see the cousins!  Good eats, good company, and no kids (with an awesome babysitter).  All went well!!

We had such a great time with Tim and Kammy and kids.  We stayed up way too late talking, the kids burned tons of energy around the farm, we had good conversation and good eats.  Couldn't have gone any better.

So lovely!!

Well...maybe a bit better.  Friday night, at Dallas's cousin's house, Layla managed to shove a bead from a bracelet clear up her nose.  I mean, clear up her nose.  We couldn't even see the sucker.  We all lolligagged over to the ER to add a little excitement to our trip.  With Dallas's help and the doctor, they got the bead out in no time flat and we were good to go (well, after a massive bloody nose and some tears).  That Laylers...always keeping things interesting.

Brave little girl holding the bead.  She was unbelievably good and cooperative.  Maleah and Charlie were very intrigued by it all, and all 3 walked out with stickers and suckers...not so bad, afterall.
